Funding this project will allow students to learn photography using a quality DSLR camera. It will give them marketable skills on industry standard equipment and enhance the quality of photos we are able to capture and publish in our yearbook. Our yearbook is entirely student created and receives no funding from the school. Even with these restraints, we have created award winning yearbooks and had students place in national photo contests. The true potential of these students can only be tapped if we are able to provide better equipment. Funding this project will bring smiles to the faces of my student journalists and allow them to capture countless more! 😁
