We are a Title I School located in Kendall, a community within Miami-Dade County. I have the pleasure of working with 165 individually talented Engineering Magnet students. Our class size varies from 20 - 37 students and we use the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way to deliver project-based instruction. I aim to encourage students to find their niche and foster a learning environment that invites diverse talents to collaborate and explore future goals together. We are preparing our students for college and beyond! Our school is a federally designated Title I school since most of the students are from low-income homes. Most of the students are first-generation Americans and Spanish is their home language. Parents want the best for their children but language barriers make it difficult for them to help with homework and projects at home.
