Our school is a very motivational place where students are encouraged to exceed their expectations. The faculty will use any materials to create experiences that allow the students to be inquisitive and creative. Many of the teachers [including myself] use our own money to provide materials but an LCD projector is way out of my budget. My students are visual learners and respond better to an image with discussion rather than a piece of paper.
