I work in a K-6 inner city school where most families are below the poverty line. My students receive free breakfast and lunch every school day and most students won't eat again until the following school day. I work as a 3rd grade teacher trying to help close the achievement gap that is readily growing in my district. My students are in need of a variety of resources in order to provide them the opportunity to grow academically and provide themselves with a promising future.

About my class
