I teach K-5 Music in a very a low income, poverty school, with a majority of my students being English Language Learners. My young students deal with a hard, poverty stricken reality that most adults would not be able to handle. Coming to school should not be yet another place where they have to "do with out". Having simple luxuries like pencils and paper are becoming scarce in our school. In order for my students to have the proper skills to create music they need to have the proper tools to do it with.Please help my students achieve their musical potential and not be limited, because the school cannot provide them with the essential tools. My students are so hungry to learn and expand their horizons, but they need a little help from you.
