I teach 22 Kindergarten students. Half of them speak Spanish at home, and the other half speak English as their first language, but all of them learn everything in the curriculum in Spanish. My students come from a huge variety of socio cultural groups, what makes my class extremely reach, but also very challenging. Some of my students have gone through a lot of hard situations at this early age. But they are XXI century citizens. They are having a real world experience since this age, and my hope is that they can spread their tolerance and respect where ever they go.
