Osmo will provide my students with the opportunity to combine real play and real learning. They will manipulate tangible pieces to create a one of a kind hands-on learning experience. It will expand their thinking, teach vital skills, and they will have a fabulous time learning. Osmo uses tangrams, words, art, science, coding, mathematics, and fully interactive video to teach a wide array of skills and lessons. Osmo is a game changer for children's use of electronic devices and "screen time". Osmo will provide real-life learning simulations, bring drawings and characters to life through computer animation, and build creative problem solving skills. Things we only dreamed of doing with crayons, they will actually be able to physically do and see it come to life with Osmo. Osmo also appeals to all types of learning. Children with special needs, are under the Autism spectrum, struggle with ADHD, or have difficulties with paper to pencil learning will have the opportunity to flourish using this hands-on minds-on, learning game system. I have witnessed the changes feeling successful through alternative learning opportunities can bring to those who are struggling and to those who are excelling but not being challenged enough. Osmo will offer that chance to succeed in a way that will appeal to each of them.
