My students have big dreams, from future lawyer to marine biologist. They know that education is the way to those dreams, and they strive to present college quality work in everything they do. Unfortunately, many cannot afford basic supplies like a presentation board. Some of their families struggle to even provide lunch. My school supports their endeavors with a rigorous curriculum, high behavior expectations, and several safety nets for when they struggle. The students put every effort into their work and deserve to have the same opportunities and resources as every teenager.
