If funded, these playaways will help bring students into the library and introduce them to new technologies which will assist them when they attend college. Our school library serves more than 2000 9th-12th grade students, more than 70% of which are eligible for free and reduced lunch. We also have a large population of English Language Learners who will be able to listen to the book as they follow along with printed text. This will help them learn the language in addition to reading skills.
