Hi! I am a third grade teacher at a Title One school in Phoenix, Arizona! I have taught Kindergarten through 8th grade in my 11 years of teaching but 3rd is my favorite! Why? Because of their independence... in third grade, we learn SO much and I can start challenging my students to read and write and THINK greater things, and then I give them time, time to work it all out in their own time, doing amazing things, growing and learning. And they do it! Sometimes they work with others, but mostly they do it themselves.
