I have 60 amazing 4th grade students that I have the privilege of teaching reading, science, and writing to. I also teach them STEM and ISTE standards so that they can be successful 21st century learners. My students come from all different backgrounds and socioeconomic situations. We work hard to make sure that each and every student is apart of our team and that everyone is working towards their individualized goals. As a class we encourage one another to reach our goals and to strive for success. Not only do we focus on academic subjects but we do yoga, sing songs, dance, play games, and complete art projects. Our classroom is a place of acceptance and encouragement. I set high standards so that my students know I believe in them and what they can accomplish if they put their mind to it.
