With these chromebooks, our students will be able to work one-on-one with projects that we assign in every subject area. Students need to learn how to become accustom to working on their own with a laptop, especially since state testing is now done electronically. Enhancing their individual skills in both the curriculum as well and basic computer skills will help these students feel more confident when it comes time for them to take State exams. Literacy is extremely important for us at a school where English is a second language for many of our students. One-on-one computer usage can help us reach students individually and show them how to format, and type proper paragraphs and essays.
