The 35 TI-36X and 1 TI-84 Plus graphing calculators will be used every day in our math classes. Due to the Flood of 2016 in Louisiana we lost our materials, but with your donation, my students will also have access to the necessary technology. With the transition to Common Core mathematics, students have been given larger, real-world problems that require technology at an earlier age. Experience with graphing calculators will prepare them for their future endeavors. During this crucial time, the focus can be on learning mathematics. Technology is an investment in their future, no matter the circumstances they face. These graphing calculators, white boards, and markers will allow students to tackle larger and more complex math problems, which will prepare them for higher education.
