My students have a lot to offer. Most of my students come from a low income neighborhood where their needs are not met on a daily basis. When they are in my classroom, I want my students to have everything they need to succeed and have a break from the chaos that awaits them at the end of the day. My students have big hearts, big minds, and even bigger dreams. They strive to do their best and show effort in all that they do. Most of them strive to be doctors, lawyers, or professional athletes when they grow up! Every profession requires reading and I want more than anything for my kids to grow through school with a strong passion for reading! My school is made up of 64% free/reduced lunch and most students come from single parent homes. All of our teachers/staff are so welcoming, loving, and most importantly give their all to these students. There is no place I'd rather teach!
