The mission of the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center is to "serve all youth of Orange County by providing quality outdoor educational programs that instill in them an appreciation of the outdoors and the environment, teach effective teamwork, instruct about the cultural history of Orange County, and provide access to the natural resources of the surrounding areas." The sixth grade students of NLE will not only participate in an immersive science experience while at camp, but also create memories and build leadership skills to last a lifetime! Your donation will help support the overall cost of the trip. During their four-day, three-night stay, students will participate in ecology hikes, geology hikes, sustainability and stewardship lessons, learn about life on a ranch, participate in a mining experience, as well as participate in archery, swimming, rock climbing, and a good 'ole campfire!
