“There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.” ― Aldous Huxley Books are doors for students to experience the world. This is especially true when we are home-bound. It is my dream that my students will be able to gain many new experiences while they grow in their reading this year. A donation to this campaign will help to provide books in which the first graders in my class see a wider range of stories, people, and perspectives. The books have been chosen for the value they will be able to bring to our class and the children's lives for this year and years to come. Together, we can put engaging, meaningful, and reflective books in the hands of these incredible students.
