My Kindergartners have so much enthusiasm for learning and a wonderful innocence. They are curious and creative and so ready to jump into the world of learning! Kindergartners are so caring of one another and have the ability to make me laugh daily. I am so amazed at the growth that takes place in this very first year of school as they learn letters and sounds, social skills, responsibility, and perseverance. The very foundation of their education begins in the Kindergarten classroom and I am so very privileged to be a part of that! All of my students are learning a second language - for some it is Spanish and for some it is English. By being a part of a Dual Language Immersion Program, they all will ultimately become bilingual and biliterate while respecting different cultures.
