My grade level and I are in need of mentor texts that go with our engaging and fun reading curriculum. These books are both old and new classics. As we get "Rooted in Reading" we need to make sure we have the proper soil, sunlight, and water - and in our case, this is the mentor text to go with our lessons. These books are used each for an entire week for students to learn from and deepen their roots. Mentor texts are different that way because they support student learning, achievement and engagement! You read them over and over throughout the week, in order to learn "what good readers do!" Please help us to become better readers and be a resource for us to continue to grow! Read, read, read. Students who read will succeed.
