The purchase of a class set of books allows the students the opportunity to analyze text while reading relevant and current material. I have spent the school year attempting to plan lesson that will allow the students to gain a better understanding of comprehension, determining the central idea of text, and text analysis in general. Read On will function like a book club. The students will have their own copy of the materiAl to read. The use of questioning , scaffolding, and differentiated instruction will be utilized. Currently, most of my students have read the novel sets we have on site. I have been purchasing books from my personal account when financially capable.
