We have a history of using rubber basketballs due to lack of funding in our school. Students often try and look past our equipment and focus on their work habits, but inevitably a player will say, "Coach, can you get us a better basketball?" We have to fund most of our uniforms for our players as money is not available in our school budget for better equipment. We are seeking donors to help us give our athletes an environment where they receive the equipment they will be actually using during game-play. In our last practice, a rubber ball exploded in my hand while I was holding it.
