Students are eager to learn, given the right opportunity and environment. A classroom that is inviting, which offers more than one way to access core curriculum is a must. My students come with limited English Language skills, including their home language. As frightening as it may sound, these children do not stand a fighting chance without a sound program that educates the whole child.
