Being a Kindergarten Teacher is one of the most fulfilling jobs in the world. My students come to school everyday eager to learn. It warms my heart to see their smiling faces. I am dedicated to ensuring the continuous growth in my students academics as well as their overall well-being. My students live in a low- socioeconomic, multicultural neighborhood. Our school is a Title 1 school that has a high free and reduce lunch population. Many of the students in my class are English Language Learners. My class is an integrated Kindergarten class which means I teach general education as well as students with special needs. Whatever their background may be, they come to school with smiles on their faces and positive expectations for themselves and each other.
