The photo shows one of my students confidently using a magnetic grid whiteboard to translate a shape on the coordinate plane. This was a big moment because this student had been struggling with the concept before. With the magnetic boards, he was able to see the grid clearly and complete the transformation on his own. As soon as I set them out, students gravitated toward them and started working without me even asking. We borrowed these boards from another teacher, but we will need to return them soon which is why I am asking for support to bring these “magic” grid boards into our own classroom.
