We are in a Charter school that gets only 25% of the funds that a public school gets. We look for grants and donors to help us get these resources. I have 3 student computers and 1 iPad. That is not enough technology for my students who prefer to learn with computers and iPads. My 26 students have to share a mobile cart of 31 computers with 156 3rd and 4th grade students. My students share 5 iPads with 156 2nd and 3rd grade students. We have scheduled hours and limited time with computers and iPads. I would like my students to have more availability to technology in my classroom at all times. David Warlick said "We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher's hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time.." I believe this.
