I have 24 wonderful 2nd graders who are very visual learners. Our school is very diverse, with 14% identified English Language Learners, and 23% qualified for free or reduced lunch. We are an inclusive school, serving students with very diverse learning styles and needs. My classroom reflects this inclusive school climate. We are located in a medium sized city and about 60% of my families have both parents working outside the home. The kids in my classroom are sort of a school "family" and are supportive of each other. They look forward to coming to school each day.
