My students are curious, creative, and energetic learners who enjoy hands-on STEM activities. They come from a variety of backgrounds and have different learning strengths and needs. Many of my students learn best when they can build, design, experiment, and see how their ideas work in the real world. My students are problem-solvers who enjoy challenges that allow them to work together, share ideas, and create something they can be proud of. They especially enjoy projects where they can turn a simple idea or sketch into a working product. Through hands-on STEM experiences, I want my students to develop confidence, perseverance, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world engineering and technology skills. These experiences help students understand that making mistakes is part of the design process and that they can improve their ideas through testing and revision.
