Our society is increasingly a visual one, where plain text is ignored or skipped over. Including pictures and photographs is important if students want others to notice and read their work on a website. The Sony cameras will be used for photos to incorporate into student projects. Instead of adding photos from the internet that may have potential copyright issues for use, students will take their own photos to use in projects. We are initially using these for a school-created blog area, but the cameras could be checked out and used for any student assignment.
