The carpet is an integral part of a first grade classroom. It is the first place my students gather in the morning and the last place they sit in the afternoons. This rug will provide a space to gather for instruction, build connections, and create a community of learners. A large rug with defined spaces for each student will help my students stay focused on learning during the day without being distracted by neighbors who are too close. My current rug is dirty and unraveling. Your support will help ensure my students have a comfortable, clean place to sit and learn.
