My students come from a very high poverty area. They often show up without their homework, let alone their school supplies. We try VERY hard to motivate them to become lifelong, successful learners. However, Math is definitely their strong point. Therefore, I am trying to make them as successful as possible in Math so that at least they can have some self-motivation by feeling like they can be great at something when it comes to school, besides sports.

About my class
