At our school we have a large percentage of our students will see much more success in anatomy and physiology by being able to teach with hands on learning. There is a need to make high school courses relevant to real life and for students and parents to see there is a need for them to have science as part of their academics. Approximately 50% of students at Combs High School receive free/reduced lunch. Our district for the last two elections has not passed and we have recently had to make a deduction in the amount of supply we can purchase to offset the funding loss. Anatomy & Physiology is a new course started this school year at our high school. We are in need of supplies and lab materials to make Anatomy & Physiology a more hands-on course.
