The items I chose for my class's wishlist will give my students a positive and engaging learning experience. The counting box sets (flowers, candy, apples, ladybugs), the Squeeze, Scoop, Count Ice Cream set, and the Nuts About Counting set will help the students learn to count using one one one correspondence as well as using fine motor skills. The Magnetic Number Tiles, Find the Number Set, and Number Dough Stampers will help the students practice their number recognition. The I Can Build Simple Words Set, Touch Read Phonics Word Set, and the Magnetic Letter Tile Set will help the students build their Phonics skills as they begin to put letters together to build and read words. The Launch and Learn Language activities will help students practice rhyming words, letter names, and letter sounds. All of these activities are fun, hands-on ways that my students will be able to practice their essential Kindergarten skills.
