Flexible seating allows students to feel comfortable in their environment while finding a special place to maximize learning. Some students need to find a quiet place to work alone. Other students benefit from working with a partner around the classroom. I also have students who need the structure of being at a table with the ability to move while they are seated. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them a variety of seating options to be more engaged while they learn and help build core strength due to limited times for physical activity throughout the day. The high back bean bag chairs with the trays will be perfect for a pair of students working together so they can have all the supplies readily available. The wedge cushions will provide subtle movement during whole class instruction, as well as during independent work time for students who need more structure and supervision. These will be extremely beneficial to get the wiggles out. The cushioned floor seats will allow for comfortable floor seating during independent and partner work time. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. The ball chairs will be perfect for students who have a lot of energy. They can be used around the classroom or at the tables where the students sit for whole class instruction.
