My 3rd grade students come from an urban, high poverty background. They are inquisitive, hungry for learning and eager to discover the world around them. They are a mix of Native American, African American, Hispanic, Iraqi, and Caucasian students. Some come to school with varying degrees of trauma in their lives. Differentiation for each child, and understanding their special learning needs is my focus. Creating an environment and a culture of engaged teaching and learning is my goal. I am very thankful for the support that Donor's Choose has given me over the years. You understand and empathize with America's most vulnerable students and for that I am grateful.
