Living in a remote Arctic community, my students are preparing for a future where financial knowledge can help them become more confident and independent. I want to provide them with practical financial literacy lessons that connect what they learn in school to real-life decisions. Through Dave Ramsey's Finance Curriculum, students will learn important skills such as budgeting, saving, responsible spending, understanding needs versus wants, setting financial goals, and avoiding unnecessary debt. These lessons will give my students opportunities to practice making thoughtful decisions about money and preparing for life after high school. My goal is to help them develop healthy financial habits and the confidence to manage their resources responsibly. With your support, my students can gain valuable skills that will help them make informed choices about their education, careers, finances, and future.
