I teach a group of energetic and enthusiastic 5 year olds, for some of whom kindergarten is the first ever time they are experiencing a school environment. These young learners are not only learning to read and write but they are learning to navigate social environments outside of home. They are becoming increasingly independent with self help, as the year comes along. They are developing into independent learners and thinkers. At this grade level the learning curve is exponential and it makes me so proud to see the amount of growth they make in once school year. Kindergarteners are the best!

About my class
