My students are joyful, resilient, and curious learners in Minneapolis who come to school each day eager to grow. They are developing foundational academic skills while also learning how to navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Many of my students thrive on encouragement, consistency, and hands-on learning experiences that help them feel safe, confident, and successful. My classroom is beautifully diverse, with students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Several are multilingual learners and first-generation students who benefit greatly from clear routines, visual supports, and access to the right learning tools. When given equitable resources, my students show remarkable determination, creativity, and pride in their work.
