My 6th grade students in northeast Texas are an incredible and diverse group. They come from various backgrounds, including low-income families and English language learners, and include both gifted students and those with learning disabilities. Some have explored beyond our small town, while many haven’t traveled outside our community. It’s really important to me to create a safe and welcoming classroom where every student feels comfortable and excited to learn. I want to make sure they all have the support they need to grow and succeed, no matter their life experiences or circumstances.

About my class
