Teaching is one of the greatest joys of my life because it allows me to nurture a love of learning in every child who walks through my door. I believe deeply in creating a classroom where students feel seen, loved, and heard. Instilling in them daily that their voices matter, their ideas are valued, and their personal identities are celebrated. My students know that our classroom is a place where they can take risks and grow not only academically but as confident, compassionate individuals. Each day, I strive to create a learning environment that is filled with peer to peer encouragement, academic curiosity and risk taking, and a sense of community. My goal is always to help them recognize that they are capable and worthy of every opportunity to succeed.
