I teach two wonderful groups of students in a self-contained classroom. Each of my students has unique learning needs and requires extra support in all aspects of school—reading, writing, math, and social skills. Many of them struggle with focus, retaining information, and completing tasks independently. They benefit greatly from visual supports, step-by-step guidance, and structured activities. What makes them special is their determination and excitement for learning. Even when a task feels hard, they light up when they experience success. They love celebrating their progress, whether it’s solving a math problem, reading aloud, or sharing their ideas with classmates.

About my class
