I teach 7th-grade math at Ralph J. Bunche Middle School in Atlanta. Every day, I work with scholars who bring different strengths and challenges into my classroom. Some enjoy math, while others have convinced themselves they can't do it. My goal is to help change that mindset. I believe students need structure, consistency, high expectations, and a teacher who genuinely cares. My classroom isn't perfect, and every day brings challenges, but I show up ready to encourage and push my scholars to do their best. I want them to feel safe making mistakes, asking questions, and learning from one another. The fact is we don't always have the supplies and resources we need. Your support will help me create a more organized, engaging classroom without putting extra pressure on families. Above all, I want my scholars to know that where they come from does not determine what they can accomplish. Thank you for believing in them!
