My classroom is bright, engaging, warm, and safe. I strive to make it a community where everyone feels welcomed and valued. It's a place where mistakes are encouraged as my students know that with them is "how we learn." I try to make learning fun, but also substantial and everlasting too. I have a great class of first grade students this year! Most of them are so well-behaved, polite, friendly, and eager to learn. It inspires me to try my best to live up to the teacher they deserve to have! They also make smile, whether it's from their innocent commentary or profound realizations that adults may count as mundane. They're charming and have made me excited to looking forward to this academic year.
