The art students at my school are Oklahoma students of a variety of backgrounds. Many are indignant to the USA being Native American. All the students are enthusiastic about art and show this in the many 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional art work they create. We show the students' art in the community and at area Native American forums of art display. We have a kiln and clay making pinch, coil, slab construction pieces, as well as, sculptures, necklaces, and other clay subjects. We do original "Cherokee" art for all of the students, although students are of different tribe affiliation. We have a nice classroom seating about 25 students, and over 500 students in 8 days. We store wet items and then display several works from each of the 25 classes weekly. Many are saved for the April art show in the community.
