My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. They come into my grade classroom eager to learn, share their ideas, and do their best each day. They love hands-on activities, teamwork, and discovering new things about the world around them. However, many of my students do not have the means to purchase basic school supplies on their own. Because of this, our classroom often becomes their primary source for the materials they need to learn and participate fully. When these supplies are not available, it can create small but real barriers to their learning and confidence. Even so, my students continue to show resilience, kindness, and determination. They support one another, work hard, and celebrate each other’s successes. I want every one of them to feel fully equipped and equally prepared to learn each day, regardless of their circumstances.
