My students have 45 minutes daily working on computer intervention programs that will build their reading and math skills. All of my students are 2 or more grades below 3rd-5th grade. Having access to tablets would greatly help students who struggle with reading/literacy and math. It is a struggle not having enough tablets or computers to use during the 45 minute intervention time. My students come from low income families, and having access to a printer can make a meaningful experience in my students' lives. My students work very hard on their assignments for projects. They are always proud to share their work with others and enjoy decorating the cover of their projects.These writing pieces and assignments are then displayed on bulletin boards or filed and used for data purposes. It would be so nice if my students could have the opportunity to share their work with their families at home! Having this printer will allow me to duplicate their writing and other projects in color.
