My Stats Seniors are stars! There is nobody else I would rather have fun with while learning than my students. They make every day entertaining, and we are each other's family by the end of the year. As an on-level Statistics teacher, most students who enroll in my class usually have not been put on my roster by choice, and math is a big bump in the road for their Senioritis activities. However, I have an engaging class planned each and every day - we're talking balloon animals, car races, basketball competitions, and candy eating - to bring us even closer to each other while learning a subject that I am so passionate about. My goal is for them to develop the same passion (or at least just not an aversion) for math and especially learning in general as they prepare to leave my classroom and enter into higher education.
