My Washington, D.C, students come to school with the biggest hearts and intentions to learn. Unfortunately, they lack the exposure to improvements in technology that many children in the United States take for granted. 99% of my class receives free and reduced lunch and most do not have a working computer with Internet access in their home. In fact, their favorite reward for outstanding behavior is to spend their recess on our one classroom computer!
