The materials will allow my students to have materials to express themselves through art. I want each student to have their own apron. Most of my students are ELL(English language learners) students, so written expression is sometimes difficult. My students need different ways to express their thoughts. When using art, my students can let their thoughts and ideas flow off their paint brushes for all to see! In doing so, I know that can be difficult for some people to do. I believe that this will be a catalyst for other subjects in addition to art. I can see this being used in Science, Social Studies, and Reading. It will work with ALL subjects. Opening up a child's mind to new, and wonderful things! I want each student to have their own apron to wear. In this way, they can personalize it, and really take ownership of their learning. The additional paint will allow more students the ability to work within this art medium.
