I am a Pre-K teacher in an inner city school in Tennessee. I have nineteen children in my classroom. These students are identified as being at risk in order to be eligible for our class. The children with the lowest screening score are accepted into the class. I set high standards for all students and value all students contribution to my classroom. The classroom is treated like a community. My students enjoy coming to school and are eager to learn.
