I primarily work with the special education population. However, I am not only limited to special education. I also work with students in general education. Students at my school have experienced trauma from losing loved ones to homelessness. The students have a hard time expressing themselves. I work with them to identify the feeling and put it into words and actions. Additionally, students are learning how to problem solve in an elementary to prepare them to move on to middle and so on.
