My students are hungry for hands-on materials and they are powerful little learners! They beam with pride when they persevere and reach their goals. Our first graders are working to be contributing members of our learning community by being active listeners, risk-takers, and problem-solvers! We strive to create and maintain a positive classroom culture where mistakes are part of the learning process and we offer multiple opportunities to demonstrate proficiency. We celebrate our successes and motivate our peers to embrace P.R.I.D.E: Politeness, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.
